About Tim
Tim Schut was raised on a farm near Chester, South Dakota. He is the oldest of three boys. After graduating from Chester High School, Tim pursued a degree in Marketing at Northern State University, where he served as Student Body President.
His first job out of college was a collector for Wells Fargo Financial Bank. Tim quickly got promoted to credit underwriting, a business development analyst and finally an inbound call center manager. Tim then joined Waddell & Reed as a Financial Advisor; he was there for 7 years. Then he went to Investment Centers of America at Dacotah Bank as a Financial Advisor. The next stop was at First PREMIER Bank where Tim’s role was Private Banking Manager.
Tim currently serves as a commercial real estate agent with NAI Sioux Falls. Tim also serves as a residential real estate agent with Signature Realty out of Madison, South Dakota.

Prior to entering commercial real estate, Tim has worked as a Financial Advisor at Waddell & Reed, as well as Dacotah Bank. Also, Tim served as the head of Private Banking at First PREMIER Bank.
Tim & Jen
They are high school sweethearts. Jen actually “liked” Tim first. They were in keyboarding class together. It all started out at the homecoming dance on October 2, 1992. Jen and Tim went to the dance and officially started “going steady” October 23, 1992.
Their Daughters
Tim and Jen have three daughters – Makayla, Katelyn and Alyssa. Tim and Jen stay busy by attending volleyball games, basketball games, track meets, band concert and one-act plays. The three girls love having friends over to the “Schut House” and there is a never a dull moment at the Schuts.
PPAOS
After nearly a year of trying to find what was wrong with Tim’s speech, they were referred to Mayo Clinic. On June 21, 2021 within 40 minutes, Tim was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Apraxia of Speech. It is very rare—one in a million. But Tim has not let this disease stop him, he’s done three podcasts, one interview and in April 2022, he will speak to the world-renowned doctors and researchers at Mayo Clinic.
